Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing American actor. After gaining fame through his work on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as Lost Law & Order, and numerous other. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. Within two years the cancer went into remission. His body was badly affected by the treatment and his development was slowed down. When he started performing, financial stability was the goal. He was a victim of poverty in his childhood. When he was interviewed, he stated that if I don't achieve financial stability or I feel out of control in the world I will be unhappy. In a conversation, he also reflects on his childhood. The goal of his is to end bullies. It breaks my heart when I hear what DJ says. The man says his ideal job would be that of father figures in the real world and on film. DJ admits that directors aren't able to put DJ in such roles. It's a dream to someday be the parent of his own child, at which point he will be able spend more time with his career and devote it to his son.
